Goals

I have two goals.

1 Get thin. I want to be down to 12st by August.
2 Get quicker on the bike.

The 2 should go hand in hand hopefully.

To measure my improvement I am going to use the Frocester Hill segment on Strava. Last year I set myself the goal of getting under 10 minutes. i eventually managed 10mins 18. But I was still carry the equivalent of my sons weight in blubber. This year the goal is to break 9mins. I last did that when I was last slim in 2006.

Day 1 Nicks weight




15st 06lb disgusting and I am thoroughly ashamed of myself.  Check out all the chins!

The comparison with 12st me 6 years ago is not good! Too much junk food since becoming a Driving Instructor has taken its toll. I might not be able to regain those youthful good looks but I at least want to lose all that face dough!

The beginning of the end

Of being fat. Or at least it needs to be otherwise it will be the end of me! High cholesterol and a very wobbly gut are not a good mix.

So why will this be different? Because it has to be. I am fed up with a thin 50 year old called grandpa Dave whipping my butt on the climbs!

After Christmas my weight was 15st 06lbs. Disgusting. When I started the first diet blog with Steve I was 12lbs lighter than that!
